Fresh Start....

I have officially lost someone I deeply care about, he has changed and become a version of himself that I do not like nor will I surround myself with people like this..It hurts a lot, but I just have to keep this quote in mind and close to my heart and I will make it through this challenging time. This also gives me a fresh start to create new goals, and meet new people. While I may not want to do this at the moment. I will pick myself up, dust myself off and come out of this situation a stronger more beautiful person. I just have to keep smiling. Smiling is what makes life livable..
Sometimes People Come Into Your Life

Sometimes people come into your life and you know
right away that they were meant to be there, to serve
some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help
you figure out who you are or who you want to become.

You never know who these people may be - a roommate, a
neighbor, a professor, a friend, a lover, or even a
complete stranger - but when you lock eyes with them,
you know at that very moment they will affect your
life in some profound way.

Sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible,
painful, and unfair at first, but in reflection you
find that without overcoming those obstacles you would
have never realized your potential, strength,
willpower, or heart.

Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness,
and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of
your soul. Without these small tests, whatever they
may be, life would be like a smoothly paved straight
flat road to nowhere. It would be safe and
comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless.

The people you meet who affect your life, and the
success and downfalls you experience, help to create
who you are and who you become. Even the bad
experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are
sometimes the most important ones.

If someone loves you, give love back to them in
whatever way you can, not only because they love you,
but because in a way, they are teaching you to love
and how to open your heart and eyes to things.

If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your
heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn
about trust and the importance of being cautious to
whom you open your heart.

Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take
from those moments everything that you possibly can
for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk
to people that you have never talked to before, and
listen to what they have to say.

Let yourself fall in love, break free, and set your
sights high. Hold your head up because you have every
right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and
believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in
yourself, it will be hard for others to believe in
you.

You can make anything you wish of your life. Create
your own life and then go out and live it with
absolutely no regrets.

And if you love someone tell them, for you never know
what tomorrow may have in store.

Learn a lesson in life each day that you live! Today
is the tomorrow you were worried about yesterday. Was
it worth it?

October Anxiety

October is my favorite month of the year. I know usually people love December or one of the summer months, but not me...I LOVE October. There are so many great things about this month: it is the beginning of fall, the temperature is perfect, there are so many fun activities to do such as haunted houses, fright-mares, haunted corn mazes, haunted forests, scary movie nights, and my personal favorite HALLOWEEN!!!  Halloween is so much fun for children and people of all ages. It is the one night that people can dress up and act totally ridiculous and no one can say anything about it. It is also a great excuse for parties, movie nights and other things that I love. I got really excited about Halloween the other day when I went to get my nails done; now being the Halloween lover that I am, I felt compelled to get my nails done in something that reflected my love of Halloween. So I sit down and ask the lady: "is it possible for you to put black tips, with a small stripe of orange underneath the black?" Of course she did not understand a word I was saying and yet she nodded as if she absolutely knew what I was saying and exactly what I wanted. This however, this was not the case. She may have heard that I said something, but she had no idea what I was saying to her. She had the black out so my assumption (a bad, bad assumption) was that she understood what I had said. Without going into greater detail, I spent two and a half hours in the nail salon that day due to a miscommunication on my Halloween nails. They were totally worth it though! my nails are exactly what I wanted them to be...now!

Busy Sunday!

This weekend was kind of crazy. It started out pretty relaxed, I got my nails done and had lunch with my mom and sister, then that night I felt like I wanted some alone time. So I ordered a pizza and got comfortable with some movies. Saturday morning my boyfriend and I were taking my niece to a fun little activity called: "Breakfast with a Witch!" This breakfast entails a fun show for children and a delicious breakfast out at Utah's own Gardner Village. Breakfast was a lot of fun, but it was early! After breakfast my boyfriend and I had to work all day outside. It was a really long day that ended in sore feet, bruised arm (clacker toy's are not my thing), and a pretty nasty sunburn! Today has been moderately crazy. I woke up, did homework, got ready, got some lunch for my boyfriend and I, went and hung out at my boyfriends house.  It was his mothers birthday today so we went and go her some delicious red velvet cheesecake from the cheesecake factory (she loved it) it is delicious! Then I did a little more homework, headed to get my check from working all day yesterday, went to dinner with my family, talked football the ENTIRE time! Then it was time to go to my boyfriends family party for his mothers birthday. It was fun to see his family, and get to celebrate his mom's birthday with them.

This Weekend

This weekend was pretty average. Woke up Friday, went to my parents house to see my mom, my sister, and her two kids. When I got there my sister only had one of her kids, I was slightly disappointed. We sat around talking to a few of my other siblings on the phone. I held my sisters baby (in fear that he may spit up at any moment) and played with him, until my arms got sore. Then my sister left, and my mom and I watched some TV. After a very traumatic slip up with the DVR, my mom and I decided we were too tired so we decided to go get some caffeine! After we picked up our caffeine fix, we headed back home. Not long after we got there, my dad came home from work. I was supposed to go on a date that night, that was supposedly all planned for me and my best friend Sarah, but as usual the boys did not have anything planned. So after taking my good time to meet up with them (yeah that's right, he didn't even come pick me up) we went and got some dinner. The food at Su Casa was really good! It was the thing that turned my night around, but as usual the night soon took a turn for the worst. We were heading to a party (typical for a college student) this would turn out to be the worst decision we could possibly have made. We headed into this party where we knew a total of 7 people....including the 4 of us. Not having much fun we decided to leave: this night ended with 2 run ins with the cops, a lot of fighting, and a long walk home for me. Gotta love college Friday nights! Saturday was a lot more relaxed, and in my opinion a lot more fun! I slept in, and got up and ready around 10. I then headed over to my friends house again, and we all went and got breakfast. However, her boy (one of the ones who could not seem to plan a date) was up the entire night, drinking. Hahaha this is where the story really gets fun! In the time that I left, and came back he had done a series of things: driven back to the creepy party, went to a mall (which was closed), crashed a different house party, been carried like a sac of potatoes, commented on some guys "muscly arms", called his mom for a ride, lost his car, and pissed off his girl. When I got back to my friends house he was having 4 morning beers, everyone knew that was a terrible choice. We all loaded in the car to go to lunch, he had lost his car as I mentioned earlier and was freaking out. He wound up falling asleep at lunch, and acting like a jerk till we got back to my friends house where he proceeded to go up to her bed and pass out. Now being the good friends that we are, we all decided that since he was partying (drinking) still then the party rules still apply. He passed out with his shoes on, therefore, giving us full right to draw on his face. We did, it turned out his dad had come and picked up his car. It was not stolen, so he was pissy all day for no reason. That day I wen to my boy's house to see my kitten! She is soo cute, then we ate some pizza, then we went dollar store hopping! Too much fun. We then decided to make cookies. We got all the ingredients, except for eggs. That plan was out for the night so we just watched a movie. Today is Sunday or more commonly known as HOMEWORK day! More fun, random, usual college experiences ahead of me i'm sure.
